This is my first attempt at building a track for my 5yr old who is obsessed with the 3dbotmaker YouTube channel. I managed to obtain a source (locally) who printed the 180 curves which has worked out amazing. Although i'm struggling to find a way of connecting them to the corroplast straights. Any ideas?
I have built the whole set up in mind of it being collapsible so it can be stored away and re-set up. This has been a big challenge (especially calculating gradients/angles needed) but I think I have done well (some tweaking needed here and there).
The set up works well but I'd like to any ideas on how I can make the turns connect to straights?
My next phase is learning how to make start gate/finish timers so I am keen to learn more on this. The discoveringmypath post will certainly help but i'm a novice at what to buy hardware wise in the UK. If anyone can help that would be great. The post is: https://www.3dbotmaker.com/forum/open-track-project/diy-solution-for-track-timer-and-auto-start-gate Keen to find what exact kit I need to buy here. Programming I can sort, it's it's the hardware kit i'm not sure on.
