I have jumped head first into building my own downhill fat track. My wife has graciously allowed for a temporary build in the kitchen considering current affairs. Some day I would like to build something more permanent that doesn't involve packing tape and a hodgepodge of random support structures. But, I am thankful for what I've got!
I thought it would only be fair to set up the Augmoto track for its "intended purpose" to begin with. What a friggin sweet idea that failed miserably to work properly, at least with my experience.
(I think he knows where we are going w this...)
I think I was able to complete one, 50 lap race against the computer without the thing disconnecting from the app. The whole time I was thinking the sizzlers version of this from the 70s was probably better because it was simpler..
But anyways, not why I bought it.. Here are some build progress pictures for now.. I was using pieces of chop sticks to connect my coroplast sections together but I ran out, so I need to come up w something else (maybe just widdle some twigs! Haha)
More to come!
