I appreciate the content and certainly the 3d files for printing the MagTrack parts, however this message board is not really working for me as I build my track.
For starters, this site runs very slow, so I am not sure where it's hosted or what backend stuff is going on, but it gets pretty frustrating just to come here to read through posts. It's not a pleasant experience when a small bit of info could really save you some time and money in constructing your track.
Second, Without getting into curves, multiple threads are started where people like myself have asked for some guidance in constructing the track and start gate after we print out the pieces and get all the materials needed. (proper cutting, taping, screwing, assembling, methods, tips, etc. -- just to start). I don't expect 3dbotmaker to respond himself as I think he's done enough, but it would be nice to see a moderated thread with a question and some solutions/photos, even if they are links to other media and/or timestamps in some of the channel's videos. Discussions seem to veer off topic very quickly here.
There is no reason why these changes and a small amount of moderation can't happen. Perhaps a couple of official FAQs and a slideshow or short video to help answer these basics. Moving the discussion aspect to reddit would offload the message board bit to another site and allow this site to be used for 3d's ecommerce via etsy and youtube channel promotion -- which is incredibly well done and the reason I even got here in the first place.
