You know me better as 72 Chevy C10...I thought I'd jump on here and give my opinions on a couple things. These are just my opinions...doesn't make them right or wrong, but I've hosted and raced in A LOT OF races, so, I've seen a lot of stuff.
First of all, Thank You, Adriel, for your commitment to this sport...these races are Great Fun, and you are doing a Great job with them!
I know there is a maximum weight limit of 300 grams here, but I think the racing would be better if you broke that down into classes. I like how Guitared and Broke has his classes set at 0-100g, 101-200, and over 200g. It would make for more racing and closer racing, keeping the cars in the same ballpark weight-wise. Yes, my 90g car did really well against a 200+ gram car, but, it basically just got shoved out of the way by the heavier car.
Next, the whole 'zoom invasion' thing...just put a maximum length requirement on the cars...nothing over 3.25" would be a pretty good number...that allows the longer stock Hot wheels cars (Caddy 16, Way2Fast, etc), but it take out the super long cars. I'm surprised I haven't seen and Disney tour buses on here yet...the longer a car is, in gravity racing, the faster it will be.
So, this is just my two cents. I hope to see this channel and others like it continue to grow. But, I really think it would make for a better show if the cars were evenly matched...lengrh and with requirements, and several different weight classes.
See ya in lane 2
