King of the Mountain Qualifying list has been updated with ALL of the cars I've received as of 5/23. If you don't see your name on the list, I haven't received your package. https://www.3dbotmaker.com/kotm
Tournament 1 will continue to be 1v1 throughout the qualifying round and tournament. For tournament 2, the qualifying round will be a 4 car race with the top car moving on to the tournament. Cars will rotate position and earn points for each race just like the stock tournament series. The actual KotM tournament will remain 1v1.
Even with this change in the qualifying round, we’re most likely not going to be able to race all of the cars. We will race at least 1 car from each household. For those who have sent in cars for yourself and family members, we’ll only be selecting the fastest qualifying car to race. We want to make sure every builder at least gets to have one of their cars race. If there is time to race the other cars we will, but at this point that seems unlikely. Cars that don’t get to race will be mailed back at the end of the season if you request to have them sent back. The Entry Deadline has been moved up (again) to June 5th. If you are shipping from outside the US and already have a package in the mail, send me the tracking number or something to confirm that it’s been shipped and I’ll consider you package as on time. If you’re shipping from within the US, June 5th is a hard deadline. I apologize for any inconvenience and for all the changes we’ve had to make. I honestly thought the 2 car limit would reduce the number of entries this year. I failed to consider the amount of new interest in the sport of modified diecast racing. At this point we’ve already qualified 218 cars with more on the way.
