An extension is very easy to make. About 5 dollars in materials and you can make this.
nope, he has retired from making them. I’d pay triple for a timer.
The timing system isn't too terribly complicated. He's posted a perf board layout of his design: https://www.3dbotmaker.com/forum/open-track-project/track-timer-system-help/p-1/dl-5e0680731671060017170f59
and the code was pretty easy to reverse engineer: https://github.com/OpenBagTwo/NibblyKibbleTimingSystem
Total component cost to get my system up and running was maybe $10, and while it definitely required soldering, none of it was complicated--this was actually the project I LEARNED TO solder for.
Thank you very much for the quick and helpful answer! I really enjoy the 6 Lane Raceway but it's too short. What material did you use to build your DIY extension in the pic? It looks like cardboard? I will go about making my own home brew version too since it seems like my only option.
You mentioned the timer. I wish I could remember where I saw it.... but I did recently see a video about a DIY timer. I would guess it (or others like it) are out there on youtube etc. Thanks again for the answer!Happy racing!
No problem, happy to help
Try Slanman Customs either on Facebook or Google him. He makes a lot of different items for die-cast racing. Let him Know that RIVERA RACING sent you to him.
Thank You for responding. As of now I don't have a facebook account. Is there another way to contact them? I googled them but their facebook page is the only result I got for them.
Feel free to send me an email - firstname.lastname@example.org :)
Follow this YouTube video. Works very well
@BlueLine Racing X Thanks again, the video is very helpful!
