Hey folks. I saw the DRC videos and now I really want to dive in on diecast racing at home with the kids and such. I'm looking at a number of paths to get started and I'm looking for opinions on certain things like: 1. Crash Racers Figure 8 (Target for $30). I like the high bank turns. Anyone use this? 2. Hot Wheels Augmoto. Again, the high bank turns look great, seems like a good set to cannibalize. Anyone using this? 3. 2 lane 90 turn, like the first turn in the DRC track. Where do I find something like this? Was this 3D printed? 4. Is anyone 3D printing track connectors to fit Hot Wheels track to coroplast? Is it just cheaper to buy them retail and modify?
My son and I stumbled across your youtube channel and have really been enjoying it (it's nice to see youtube being uses for something fun and family friendly!) He would love to try to enter a car into one of your tournaments. On one page on your website, it mentions guessing who you think might win an existing tournament to try to "win" a spot in an upcoming tournament... but it doesn't really give much detail. How do you "enter a guess" for who you think is going to win? Sorry if it is posted somewhere else and I just missed it... a link would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work, this is a great channel! Jeff and Thomas
